Toon Tour - South Bank

From a bridge of fools to a lion and from an eye to a cube, all sounds like subject matter for a surrealist painting, but no, it was our stroll on a balmy summer’s evening along the South Bank between the bridges of Westminster and Blackfriars. Here, the storey of 20th Century societal change is embodied in landmark buildings that cling to the water’s edge. Arguing the merits of Coade stone over concrete is best done in the pub at the end!
