Carmelo studied at the Polytechnic University of Milan and, following several years of experience working on retail and commercial projects, completed and passed Part 3 in 2006. Since then, he has worked with architectural practices of diverse sizes, with a particular focus on technical detailing and the production of tender and construction packages. More recently, he worked on fit-out solutions for a major storage company. Over the last two years, Carmelo has transitioned from CAD-based workflows to Revit, developing his skills in BIM and digital project delivery. He joined Sonnemann Toon in February 2026, where he currently supports the team across healthcare projects as well as one of the practice’s cultural projects.
