Platinum Café, London NW8
A glass extension houses the café to the Platinum Medical Centre where visitors can relax. Within this Sonnemann Toon Architects were asked to create a comfortable interior to harmonize with the adjacent entrance spaces. Seating is positioned to best enjoy the natural light and view over the modest garden space and to indulge those who like to people-watch, offering unhindered sight of the activity at the main entrance. The illuminated counter invites visitors to enjoy the refreshments and as a pleasant destination in its own right, the café contributes to the quality of experience within a new outpatient facility.
