Emblem House, London SE1

As part of continuous enhancements to the London Bridge Hospital campus this scheme is a comprehensive upgrade of the outpatient centre. The works were undertaken in two listed buildings - Emblem House and Denmark House. Extensive internal remodelling allowed a new nuclear medicine department to be created; this included the installation a SPECT CT and PET CT scanner.

Clinical accommodation on the upper floors was refurbished to create an enhanced on site diagnosis facility with modalities such as Fluoroscopy, X-ray and Ultrasound, as well as a new Phlebotomy and a treatment suite.

A new lift was installed to allow inpatient bed access to those vital functions and to provide resilience for this and any future hospital developments. The courtyard façade was refreshed by the addition of curtain walling in a finish harmonising with the metalwork of the main building. Surface upgrades and a new planting scheme unified the look of the London Bridge Hospital courtyard.
