Lakeside Medical Centre, London SE2
Lakeside Medical Centre in Bexley was built on a fast-track schedule of 16 months under the Bromley Bexley and Greenwich LIFT scheme. Our design had to consider the plans for local re-development of the Thamesmead Estate over the coming 15 - 20 years, and was progressed in close consultation with clinicians, the Planning Department, the contractor and local residents. The building is situated on an ‘island’ site and creates a new landmark for the community, addressing the need for both security and durability while delivering accessible, modern healthcare in a contemporary setting.
